Starting today, I’ll write about feel good stories. I believe we need more positivity in this world. These stories will be based on my everyday experiences.
I want to thank my friend, Edwin Soriano, who has been doing this for a long time. He serves as my inspiration for spreading stories of kindness. Please check out his website: www.edwinsoriano.com
I went to a big supermarket this evening to purchase a new tire for my car. My plan was to go there, get a new tire, replace the spare and leave; very quick and easy. However, things didn’t go as planned. I almost lost my cool when one of the employees told me that I could no longer be accommodated because they’re already closed.
How could they have been closed when it clearly said on the signage that they’re open until 9:00 p.m.? I arrived at 7:30 p.m.
I headed right away to the customer service counter to complain. I was then escorted to their supervisor
This man was something else. I was shocked because he was really good at handling my concern. He calmed me down, and even went out of his way to serve me by personally changing my tires.
The supervisor’s name was Elwhin Labro. I really honor his leadership. He talked to his people, and got his hands dirty. He did what needed to be done.
Businessmen, you should hire more people like Elwhin because they work with compassion and diligence!
If you are an employee, you should follow Elwhin’s example by going out of your way to serve your customers. If you do this constantly, I’m sure you’ll get your breakthrough.
Learning: I realized that there would always be good people ready to help you, and make your life better. You just have to look for them.
Something good is about to happen,
