Summer is coming.
You don’t want to be caught unprepared for one of the happiest seasons in the planet.
Don’t mind the heat because summer is the season where the sun is most alive, and the sun means life. Summer should be a season of celebrating life, and no matter how busy your life is, I invite you to go out and enjoy this season.
My 2014 were so busy that I realized that I wasn’t able to enjoy summer the right way. My mistake last year was that I was focused so much the numerous tasks I needed to accomplish that I forgot to just stop, pause and have fun. I sorta regret that.
Because of missing out on rest and relaxation, I ended up really tired and burned out a few months after.
I won’t let that happen again this year, that’s why I really prepared for this year’s summer.
Here are four fun ways to prepare for Summer 2015.
I’m still very busy this year but I wrote down what I wanted to do. I also planned out who are the people I wanted to spend time with.
I’m excited for the summer outing of Feast Greenhills, I can’t wait to spend time with my co-servants, just relax together.
I’ll also have whole-day date with Viv this summer, we’ll drive outside of manila to eat, relax, talk, laugh and then go home.
We’ll also be having relatives who’ll be visiting from the United States. I’m excited because I haven’t seen my cousins for a long time. It’s exciting because we’ll be checking out places that we haven’t seen in the Philippines.
I encourage you to try something new, if you always go to Baguio, Boracay, Puerto Galera, Zambales, Batangas, Hong Kong and Singapore. I invite you check out other places that will also give you new beautiful experiences.
2. Set a summer budget
The only thing I don’t like about summer is that if you aren’t prepared for it, you will burn all your money.
After planning your trips, it’s time to think about how you’ll be managing your finances.
I don’t want you to finish summer with debt.
I believe you can have a great time with spending so much money, because what matters is that you are with the people you love.
3. Lose the Christmas belly
I used to exercise at least twice a week but when December came, I just lost all focus on exercising and gained weight.
Together, let’s burn the fat that we gained during the last holiday season.
I started eating fruits again, and I’m going back to boxing.
You don’t have to spend a lot in the gym, you can start with running, burpees, squats and lunges. Those are basic moves but are really helpful.
4. Invest in a good camera
Summer is incomplete without the photos. I love looking at the photos I take during summer because I am reminded of the wonderful memories I experienced there.
You don’t have to purchase a very expensive camera, but get something that will be reliable in taking wonderful shots.
It would be great if you have a friend who can lend you a nice camera.
Memories are important, make sure you capture all the wonderful moments of your summer.
Enjoy the sun!
